On 6 August there was an afternoon art show opening in which I was the featured contemporary artist. The works of other artists were also exhibited, from beautifully carved decoys to wicker baskets, prints, and restored furniture.
On Monday afternoon, I joined other area artists for the opening at Sluice Creek Gallery, Cape May Bird Observatory in Goshen, NJ. My original artwork was displayed – including images used for World Series of Birding t-shirts as well as ones done on scratchboard. It was a great afternoon – seeing old friends in Cape May as well as meeting other artists in the area.
Signing a couple of prints for Lauren Bosch. Lauren and I used to work together at WINGS. She was visiting her sister in NJ and it was so great of them to drive down to attend the opening.
